I dont know what hes talking about the product works well and does scan fast. It finds trojans and worms and spyware and removes them effectively . If you scan and remove, then scan again you will sometimes still find the trojans ..YOU MUST reboot sometimes after the scan to correct this.. Oh yes one more thing in reference to the previous comment ,you can not detect a worm or trojan by simply importing it on to your computer by coping it from a disk and pasting it in a folder on your desktop ,it must be entered in the registry (by a java drive-by download ,program install, or by some other means) and that is why this guy didn't find any trojans on his machine .Because they were not active in his computer(REGISTRY).This program does not scan all files and folders and hard disks . It scan windows system files and registry entries. Happy birthday to me. Skipy

Ms Anti spy was made by giant software and the program is great. I m sure MS has made some additions to it but it is great and its free. Everyone is saying MS is going to charge for it when the expires at the end of the year.... Well for what I got back (after contacting MS )is it will remain free....oh yippee...... PS look at counter spy... isnt it the same interface as MS anti-spy.. hummm. And if MS decides to charge money I think ill buy Counter Spy See ya .... Skippy

This is a essential program to have . The number 1 reason for Hard Drive failure out side of a virus is over heating of the hard drive. It has a nice interface and you can set different audio alerts as well....(mine is a WW2 air raid siren ) plus if my wife is on the computer she does not keep the speakers on often so I customized a BMP to pop up to tell her to shut the computer off cause its hot and if she dosent it will shut off for her... ha ha *this is a essential application for lap tops due to poor air flow in such a small box .......ok SKIPPY....OUT..

MRU blaster is a very good program .you must really go into its interface to use it effectively yet this program always adds itself to your start up items menu so you always have to unregister it or block it with SB SD there is no way to stop it from running inside its own interface....

I sent this link to this popup stopper to spychecker and i was glad to see it posted I have tried many for( ie 6 sp1 ) and it works well, its free amd it does not add a heavy ram load to the PC I have Microsoft Anti Spy too and I have had none his Messenger ads from A.S. Plus when your not using IE it Leaves your sys tray and your process list ..& poof no extra cpu or ram load. Plus it has some nice features like( A close all Browser windows ) button just in case someone comes in on you when your looking at number of web sites you dont want anyone to know you looking at.....LOL. If you find a better one please let me know....Luv Skippy

The main feature of this confounding little Blaster Program is.. well...see for yourself . click on tools/internet options/security/restricted sites/sites tab..... as the program updates it ads more sites to the list and particular Java exts. Does anyone remeber typing all those sites in the restricted list...I didnt think so.Same goes for the Active X prtection. Does it really work??? Try disableing all protection and go surf the wild web and run a scan with Ad aware or Spybot and see what you get....This is a great program ...
