Having to register is mildly annoying but not difficult. After registering, when running Fresh Diagnose, i got lots of error messages and messages that the software was unable to do this or that. When it worked the interface was OK. I have tried and prefer several other similar freebies... and most of those do not use an install program. This review is for Fresh Diagnose under Win XP Pro SP3.

It's simple, small, does what it says ... unless you have this problem. It worked fine until i opened the StartMenu to start a program. After the StartMenu closed the left pane of recently run programs continued to display through the transparent Taskbar. Yes, even after the StartMenu closed, it's left pane was visible through the now transparent Taskbar. This might be an anomaly of my setup -- XP with miscellaneous addons. 5 stars if you don't have this problem.
