The interface is user friendly and the free version has many features to get you started. Very good documentation (User and Administrator). Very good Setup Wizard.

I have used a previous version (Lantalk XP) and this version is an improvement. You can also transfer files, format your text messages, search previous messages and create folders to organize them.

The disk at first was not recognized even by the BIOS. For some reason the 40Gb disk was then detected by the computer but Windows reported a 10Mb partition and nothing was in it. GetDataBack for FAT allowed to recover 99% percent of the files we wanted to get out. I was quoted by Drive Savers between $1,400 and $2,300 for data recovery services.
