Needs a feature
SpeeDefrag version 3.0
I leave my computer on all the time and I think this program would be a lot more valuable if it had an option to NOT shut down your computer after defragging. (i.e. continue booting to the desktop) That way, I could restart/defrag my computer before I go to bed it would be defragged by the time I got up the next day.

Nice desktop addition
Visual Task Tips version 1.0
This is pretty handy. I hope a future version will support grouped taskbar buttons. :)

Excellent security software
TrueCrypt version 4.1
Anyone who has used Scramdisk and it's later, commercial version DriveCrypt will love TrueCrypt. You can choose to use either container files or disk partitions to hide your encrypted data. Container files can be named whatever you want (i.e. so you could call the container file 'backupgames.zip'). In addition to using a password to access your encrypted volume, you can also require the use of a keyfile, which can be any other file on your hard drive. This ensures a huge keylength, making the volume very difficult to crack. This program and AxCrypt (for encoding large numbers of small files) should provide for most of your encryption needs. Check it out.

Very good encryption utility
AxCrypt version 1.5.4.2
AxCrypt adds a new right-click extension to Windows Explorer making it very easy to use. AxCrypt temporarily caches the password you use, so you can encrypt many files and folders at once. Decryption works transparently, so if you enter the correct password for the first file, then any other file encrypted with the same password will decrypt automatically. This is really a nice feature as things like text files and pictures will remain encrypted on the disk but they will decrypt 'on-the-fly.' You can also right-click on encrypted files and select 'rename.' This will convert the file name to gibberish, hiding what it might contain. But when you decrypt it, the proper filename will display in whatever application you use (MS-Word, Notepad, IrFanView, etc). AxCrypt will also let you encrypt files with an automatic decrypter, so you can send an encrypted file to another person who doesn't have AxCrypt installed. All they need to know is the password.

Excellent search utility
LookDisk version 2.90
This program can also search text files within zip files. Not just for file names, but within the text files themselves. It also has very nice results options, i.e. it will show a user-defined number of text lines before and after the search term, like a web search result. You can then click on the search result and either open the file directly or open the containing folder in Windows Explorer.

Lots of improvements
CDBurnerXP version 2.2.9
There's finally an option in this version to pick your own write speed for DVDs. Excellent. This program is better than a lot of commercial software. -- Nut

Very nice
Directory Lister Pro version 0.7
It's fast and easy to use. The only thing I wish it would do is indent the subdirectories. It would make the directory structure easier to read. --Nut
