I'm glad i looked at this.
Protected Storage PassView version 1.60
I don't use Outlook Express because of this type of insecurity with passwords, so it was well worth downloading this program, as I went on to discover that Outlook still had my passwords clearly visible even after I deleted the accounts. They are well and truly deleted now.

Incredibly small program!
PicoCurrency version 0.1.1
My first review of this program was a bad one, as I downloaded it and it didn't work on my win98 system as stated in the program description. I was then amazed at the software developers fixing this problem in response to my review within 24 hours. I initially chided them for a lack of support on their website, but behind the scenes its apparent they are very eager to support the users of their software. I'm glad to say its now running perfectly on my system. The program does what it sets out to do well, for such an incredibly small program. Simple, but efficient.

Easy to use and very functional
Clipboard Recorder version 2.1.0
I've not used many clipboard tools before, but after becoming involved in editing and contributing to a number of well known wikis I have been doing a lot of cutting and pasting lately. Clipboard Recorder has been a real time and energy saver for me in this regard.

The most addons and most exploits.
Internet Explorer version 6.0 SP1
It's got tons of stuff you can add to it, but it also has the most exploits that can take advantage of it. I use it to update windows, as an earlier reviewer stated, and to use some websites that don't support Mozilla, such as launch.yahoo.com. Mozilla Firefox is my browser of choice now.

Versatile and effective.
iISystem Wiper version 2.4
I've only tried a few of the programs in this category, but I've never had a reason to stick with any of the others. This does the job and it has a comprehensive range of options. The interface can look a little daunting with all the tabs to choose from.

Simple, but effective.
Eraser version 5.7
It's got no bells and whistles, but it does the job and it does it right. I tend to use AxCrypts built in shredder for single file deletions but when I want to clear the free space on my hard drive, this is my program of choice.

A converted access manager user.
Oubliette version 1.9.8
After using ... for a long period, this is without a doubt the best password manager that's out there. It nevers gives me any grief with instability, it has enough functions to keep the most rabid security conscious user happy. The interface makes using it a pleasure. Don't hesitate to try it.

My first password manager.
Access Manager version 2.0.55
This was the first password manager that I really stuck with. It has everything you need in a password manager. It did strike some issues with it when installing a fresh copy of my operating systems and it bringing up missing file messages. This was the major reason I switched to Oubliette. It's really a toss up between Access Manager and Oubliette. With Oubliette the interface seems to be 'lighter' and more functional and easier to use, in my personal opinion and no problems with 'missing files' when I reinstall my OS. Access Manager would be my second choice.

Very simple, but it does the job
S-Tools version 4.0
I was curious about this form of encryption and I downloaded S-Tools to get a feel for how it works. The interface is pretty minimal, but it does what its supposed to do. This form of encryption in pictures has some fascinating possibilities.

An breez to use, with all the right features.
AxCrypt version 1.5.4.2
This program is a dream for encrypting single files. Easy to use, great functionality. The context menu options make everything a breeze. This is the one to get.

Better than kerio
Sygate Personal Firewall version 5.6
I was using Kerio, after having nightmares with Zone Alarm. After experiencing some instability issues with Kerio though, I went searching for something new. I had tried sygate before and experienced some problems during setup, but friends kept recommending it as a nice firewall. Finally I got around to trying it again, and I have to say it's working just fine now (version 5.6). I won't be going back to Kerio.
