Excellent program
The GodFather version 0.69
Yes, it really is. There are many options and possibilities. You can really manage your audio files easily in many aspects. Apart from easy renaming many audio files at once and very nice possibilities to manipulate ID tags, there some other fancy options like going online and searching for info about songs and albums and updating the files automatically. Very nice. There is one huge downside. It is really shame that such an excellent program has that tiny and insufficient help file. I miss examples of usage and similar staff that would get me closer to it. There are also some more possibilities to add in order to make it really complete audio files manipulator (like CD ripping, etc.) But anyway, definitely my choice.

Very effective, and easy to use
Restoration version 2.5.14
I have been using it for quite a long time and it did many things other more "advanced" programs of this type couldn't. I love it because it is simple and, yes, in my case it has proved to be very effective. It is not perfect though, interface could be better, but it definitely deserves much more plusses than minuses.

The best of calendars
Calendarscope version 2.3
Tried several others and it is shame what some people want to sell. This calendar is the best and the most beautiful of all. I can say as well: "Look no further, this is the one."

Simply the best!
avast! Home Edition version 4.6.603
Yes, it really is the best. I have read tons of user reviews in order to figure out which AV program is the best, and by far this is the one. It really finds all viruses and since I use it I do not have problems at all. Use it along with Spybot, AdAware and SpywareBlaster, as well as free edition of ZoneAlarm and you will be completely protected. I also highly appreciate their concept of two editions. Home edition is fully functional and FREE. Every application for home users should be free. They did the job well, they were not greedy for money and gave us home users free edition, so only the best words from me. I can highly highly recommend it. A must have!

Nice
PhotoCDBrowser version 2.95
Nice and easy to use and understand. I recomend it. Use it along with Quick Menu Builder and make nice photo CD's with menus.

Useful
AM-DeadLink version 2.06
I use it and it really helps me. I like the option to download icons for sites stored in Favorites. Very easy to use, although I would like to see more options.

Powerful, but difficult to use.
WinHTTrack version 3.32
I cannot remember how many times it either returned to me 0 pages, or stucked trying to download the whole WWW. It is very powerful, and it completed some tasks other programs couldn't, but it is extremely hard to use. If you want to just to download several pages for later viewing try Offline Commander. This one is for more serious tasks. There is great supportive forum as well.

Maybe you shoud try offline commander
Offline Explorer version 3.5 SR1
Offline Commander is better in my opinion. Tested both of them but OC is easier to use and seems more powerful to me.

Great
Offline Commander version 2.1
I use it and cannot live without it. Forget grabbing texts or images from internet for later viewing/reading. Get the whole sites, or parts of sites and read it as they are ment to be read. Easy to use and, in my opinion, better than OfflineExplorer.

No, not yet.
Quick Menu Builder version 1.3
I have read the help file and everything looked nice and easy, but in practice things do not go that smooth. I have spent all the night trying to make a simple menu with two or three submenus. There are lots of bugs, program very often behaves "stubbornly" returning some options on old values despite saving. Would like to have more options, like to automatically return to main menu after closing the submenu. I thing that versions 2.x will be good. And until then.... I think I will use it, but for some very basic menus and will for sure keep away for advanced features.

Very useful
ColorImpact version 2.8.3
I do not know whether such options as available in this program are included into mighter graphic programs (Corel, Photoshop,...), but this is something that everyone who has ever tried to make anything coloured would like to have. For the first time my colours look harmonised. Before using this program, whatever I tried, and hoewer I guessed the colours, they always missed that sophisticated touch, caracteristic for professionally done web pages.

The best of all in this category.
PowerArchiver version 9.11
It really gives you full comfort of handling archives, though in my opinion a superb program like this should have a greater support for RAR archives (making, converting to, making self-extracting). I give it all five stars and highly recommend it.

It is good.
System Cleaner version 4.96
It really cleans the system. Very nice. I would recomend it, though interface could be better.

Ugly and nothing special
Registry Medic 2008 version 3.0
No, not this one. The interface is ugly, it runs slow on my computer, and options are more-less standard as in any other application of this type. My choice is definitely RegEdit. Good old RegEdit. Now it is gone. :(

Only this one helped me.
ShellExView version 1.10
Helped me to get rid of some annoying right click context menu entries related to Windows Media Player. I couldn't remove them in any other way, although I have tried almost everything, including even some "super powerful" programs. Therefore it will for sure find its place in my computer. I can highly recomend it.

Too complicated
WinOrganizer version 2.8
Well imagined, but too complicated to my taste. It takes quite a time to open in order to complete just as simple task as writing down a thought, entering a contact, or see what do I have planned for today. I prefer simpler applications for handling separate functions. One for contacts (PhoneDeck), one as calendar-organizer (Calendarscope) and one as a notebook (KeyNote). I never store important passwords on my computer.
Review date: Jan 17, 2005
Very good, but needs fine touches.
PhoneDeck version 1.3
Maybe it is one of the best programs of its kind. I do not like "all in one" programs which include phone manager, calendar-organizer, notebook, password storer, .... They ussually take a lot of time and memory to open in order to complete something as simple as just adding another contact. I prefer simple applications which do the job well. This is for sure one of them, though there are things to improve and repair.

Very powerful, but....
MacroMaker version 2.0.0.4
Very interesting concept and, it seems to me, rather unique. An option to export macros in the form of .exe file would for sure make of the program a mighty tool. But I really cannot see its purpose for a home user as I am. Apart from seating back and looking astonished how the little thing have recorded every single move of the mouse. In general Windows seems to me not to be playground for macros. Maybe some examples about its use could be given at the homepage. Definitely the application for either the people who make a lot of repeated, routine moves during the day or those who are automatisation lovers.

Effective
Directory Lister Pro version 0.7
Small but very effective utility. Actually I will never need more than this application does. I like it because it is simple. No some "advanced" features. I need to list files in directory and this program helps me to do it. Nicely done, though some minor touches could be made (like subheadings and indentations)

Simple and effective
Keynote version 1.6.5
What can I say. This program is in some aspects more advanced than MicrosoftWord. Yes, I have always missed tabs in Word document, and here I got tabs AND trees!!!. Therefore I started to avoid Word and to use this program for numerous writings that are not that "serious" to need all formatings in word, but also not that "easy" to write them down in Notepad. Simplicity and ease of use got my symphaties right away and in my opinion its great plus is that it isn't overcrowded with many "advanced" features. Just keep it that refreshing simple and keep on doing great job! Looking forward for version 2.00 with all announced improvements!

Probably the best of free calendars
ClickTray Calendar version 2.58h
Yes, it is feature rich, but to my taste a bit too much - I mean I manage with Windows' calculator very nicely. I do not like colours neither. It could be nicer. But with plenty of functions and options it yields great possibilities. Particularly nicely done are options to print various things. Worth of try.

The best of all stickies
Atnotes version 9.41
Definitely the best program of this type. Tried Stickies (very nice too) and TurboNote+ as well, but this one gives most options and possibilities and it is FREE. It is simple to use and really gives you feeling of putting stickies on the screen, not small windows or anything complicated. Great job! Maybe calendar could be nicer and more stylized.

Nice, but...
Stickies version 5.0a
I like Stickies, particularly the jiggling option - the post-note jiggles when the alarm gets activated. Very nice, but ATnotes is better in my opinion (features richer).

Very helpful
Dirkey version 2.0a
Very useful. I was a bit resistant to it in the beginning and thought it is another useless program that gives you options you will never use and need. But now I cannot imagine my navigating in Windows without it. It is very nice and very helpful. Try it and keep on using for a while the advantages this program gives you, and you will realize how necessary it is. Definitely my choice!

It is just a part of protection arsenal
Spybot - S&D version 1.3
This program is probably one of the best in this category and it is FREE! I use it along with Ad-Aware, Spyware Blaster, Zone Alarm and Avast antivirus (and from time to time TrojanHunter) and I can say I feel really safe! :)

Nice
Mouse Emulator version 2.1
Very interesting program. I have installed it, so it seets paitently in my Start menu waiting for my mouse to stop funcioning. If I ever have to work on a laptop without mouse (I have to do several times) this will be the first thing I will bring with myself.

Very elegant
Convert version 4.10
Very nice, very tiny and very useful. Not other 'advanced' (read useless) options like scientific calculator and similar staff, which just make things ugly and unnecessarily complicated to use. This program was made simple and it was made right. Very nice option for user to add his/her own units. Tried ESB Unit Conversion Utility as well, but this one is far better because it is simpler.

Great job!
Maxthon version 1.1.090
Completely changed my concept of internet surfing. Tried Avant browser as well, but I think this one is better. Plenty of valuable functions that make a web browsing completely new experience. A must have! Go and read the help on their web site to get on with all its options.
