Excellent scripting language...and free!

I find AutoIT to be an EXCELLENT scripting language for Windows. I used to use WinBatch + Compiler for Windows scripting, but when I moved to a new company, they didn't own WinBatch, and didn't want to purchase it. AutoIT has enabled be to automate several processes that otherwise would have required expensive development. Check it out. It's constantly being updated and refined. AutoIT has evolved into an excellent scripting app.

Actually quite good!
Mooseoft Encrypter (freeware)

I m no cryptologist, but this program is very slick. I installed it and copied the installed directory to a USB Memory Key, and it runs excellently from there. I can run it on preactically any newer Windows system. Unfortunatly, it looks like the developer s site is no longer valid, so this app doesn t look like it s being supported. Highly recommended!

Excellent menu program!
Hidden Menu
- Overall:
After trying a number of menu/launcher programs, Hidden Menu provides the fastest, least-intrusive menu launcher yet. Some of the others, even the commercial/shareware ones, never seemed to be 100% compatible in that they would sometimes lose their Z-order or they would simply fail. Hidden Menu hasn t failed me yet. Works like a charm on my Windows XP Pro system.

FTPcheck
- Overall:
Unfortunatly, my ISP doesn't allow me to shell-in nor do they have a way to show me how much disk space I have used. While I can use programs like WS_FTP and SmartFTP to give me size totals WITHIN directories, neither gives me a "site total". FTPcheck does exactly that. It's pretty quick too. This is a great tool for what I needed!!!
