You should have called this "photoshop 2"!! the price/value rivals any commercial software already on the market. GIMP does the basics of what we need very well, and has enough features that it takes some time to learn, but so does all other good software...

Looked for one file and it did find it. Told me the possibility of recovery was very good, but did not undelete the entire file. the resulting .exe file would not run correctly either.

This software is easy to setup and use. i am not an expert, but this software has all the tools and more that i need to download files from the website. it even has a feature to not log you off if you are doing other things. this is great software and it is just as good or better than cute ftp and some of the other ones you have to pay for. nice job Tim!!

This software just does not work. After using VNC for a while and having it quit working, we switched to hidden admin. the documentation is hard to read for English speaking people (he is Russian) and there is no good English version of the docs. the author replied to all my emails but ran out of suggestions quickly. his last suggestion was to wait for the new version a month from now and see if that fixes things...

I tried using RealVNC and went through the horrors of having to learn remote computing / networking from scratch. VNC was helpful but long-winded and too technical in their explanations. It took forever to get it running. Access Remote PC was up and running in 30 minutes or less, and if you don't mind changing ip addresses through email once in a while this is the software you want. They do have an RPC Service that eliminates the need to keep changing the ip address!

Yahoo messenger and VNC viewer stopped working once I put this firewall on, and I gave these programs full rights. The antivirus did find one trojan, but what good is it if it could not repair or delete it? The same crap is still getting through even with this firewall and it is version 5.5. Thanks for the info about vsmon also and not upgrading to version 6. What good is this program if you have to do a bunch of work to get it to work "normal" and not slow your system down?? Forget [..], used it and uninstalled it and of course it did not totally uninstall. Guess you could buy [..] or some other firewall and then be totally pissed...
