If all of you have wondered what happened to the Tortoise (of the Tortoise and the Hare Race)it was here in my very own computer, about five minutes ago. But like us all, it has gotten much older and i'm afraid much, much slower. I mean i've had some slow progs in my time, but this beats them all hands down. As with all progs you hit a button and something will happen eventually. But not with this old prog. You hit the button and wait, and wait, and wait. By the time the command has worked you have forgotten why you hit the button in the first place...Then when you tire of it messing you around and try to close it, well........So you give it another chance, and try to start it up again. But what is this, a little message pops up "This program has been damaged, possibly by a bad sector of the hard drive or a virus. Please reinstall it". Ooooh what fun we are having. I give up, so it's out you go. Sorry Graham

If you are looking for a programme that is easily configured, and does the job, this is it. I've tried two or three firewalls, some OK, some a nightmare, but this will do for me. And it downloads and installs any updates you need. This is the one for non-techies like me.

What a trial that turned out to be.... I don't consider my self stupid, though i'm no techie. But this prog gave me nothing but problems. It installed itself majestically, but that's when the trouble started. Gone was my iexplorer, which couldn't connect to the internet to try to fix things. At times i could receive my e-mail, but NO internet. I was lucky enough to connect to a p2p site and found another firewall. Three days of trouble for nothing. Unless your a techie, i would keep well clear.

The main screen is too cluttered to be of any use, also it didn't pick up com1, which rendered it useless. Maybe if i had got it working it would have proven itself. But unfortunately, no. I found an elsa, and that works no problem.
