Working in under 1 minute
Frix QuickRes version 3.0.29
This is exactly the sort of utilities I like, the ones which do one particular task and do it well. I often change resolution between 800x640 and 1024x768 to capture graphics suitable for word documents. QuickRes allows me to do it in two clicks rather than entering the properties menu. From download to operating was about 45 seconds, and within a minute i had configured the display properties for both settings and set QuickRes to be available on startup and from the system tray. For anyone who changes resolutions frequently this is a must. Brilliant!

Didn't do the job
i.Scribe version 1.86
As conductor said.. "No SMTP authentication" and "broken node" errors kept appearing randomly so it wasn't suitable for me using on my usb drive. The mail preview was good but sadly the program was useless without being able to send mail. Some may find this works for them but I struck out. I think i'll try Thunderbird.

Job done
DefaultBrowser version 1.2
Another piece of software which is written for one purpose and does it perfectly. If you want to use Firefox etc but don't want to explain why the buttons look different to each user then grab this now.

Perfectly simple!
UniqueDisplay version 1.0
I rated this softwares interface and features "Excellent" which may seem strange as it doesnt actually have an interface or for that matter any features. But it works a charm and it doesnt need any intervention. Just set your resolution and it remembers it per user. I was concerned about the mention of a delay and the possibility of resolution changes annoying other users but i haven't noticed anything. Recommended to anyone who likes high resolution screens but has low resolution family!

Recommended
TagScanner version 4.7
I use TagScanner to remove any form of ID3Vx tags so i can rename the tags to how I want them as well as the file renaming function. This couldn't be considered in depth use but it's what I downloaded it for and it does just the job.
