Everything itunes should be...
iTunes Album Browser version 2.1.23
ITAB is everything iTunes should be, but never will. Besides the obvious advantages of being able to browse your library by album artwork, and the "too cool for words", CD spine option, iTAB allows you to browse by highest-rated, or most-played, among other stats. The interface is very well-designed, and the download is a tiny 750KB. Amazing! [Disclaimer] I was so impressed with iTAB that I donated webspace for the program's author.

Great for what it is
Realty Mailer version 1.0
Reality Mailer seems to be a well-designed and easy-to-use program marketed for a specific audience. True, even at the reduced price of $75, it's rather pricey, but that price is justified when you factor in how much time it can save in the long run.

A refreshing idea
Comic Junkie version 1.0
Everyone seems to be jumping on the RSS and Podcast bandwagons these days, but Comic Junkie delivers something completely different. It offers access to hundreds of comics, all in one easy to use (and very attractive) interface. This very well designed program gets my highest rating.

How fast do you want those results?
DupeTrasher version 1.0
This app is insanely fast! I did a search through thousands of images with the default settings, and the results came back in ten seconds! Another app I tried took nearly an hour.

Just what i was looking for.
NET Traffic Meter version 1.4
NET Traffic Meter provides many useful features such as the exporting of statistics to an RTF file. I only wish that the graph could be displayed in the taskbar.

All the power you need
Tag&Rename version 3.1
Tag&Rename is one of those apps that can make a tedious task (such as renaming MP3s) a breeze, with one click! T&R supports a wide variety of file formats, and has pretty much every feature anyone could ever want. The interface is well-designed, and it simply works better, and faster, than any other MP3 utility on the market. Well worth the registration fee.

Wow!
CATraxx version 6.10.1
CATraxx is simply an astonishing program. Whether you want to catalog your music collection, or to create MS Access databases for use in other applications, CATraxx does is all, and does it well.

Stops pop-ups "dead in their tracks"!
NetCaptor
I have used NetCaptor since 1999, and this version is awesome with it´s new method of stopping pop-up windows. Add an excellent interface, and a boatload of features that you will NEVER see in Internet Explorer, and you have a top-notch browser!

The best freeware editor on the market
TSW WebCoder
TSW WebCoder is the best freeware editor I have come across, and I have tested dozens of them. It has every feature most webmasters will need.

Great idea!
Sizer
Sizer is an example of an app that does one thing, and does it extremely well. This will certainly come in handy for web designing.

Easy-To-Use
Electric Shoebox
Electric Shoebox is a serious alternative to Adobe Photoshop Album. It has all the features you need for organizing your photos, basic image-editing, and the photo sharing feature is great.

WOW!
PocoMail
I have been beta-testing PocoMail 3 for some time now, and am so glad to see it go "final". The new version will simply blow you away, with its power, feature-set, and terrific new interface. PocoMail is virtually virus-proof (I don t even use an anti-virus program, that s how confident I am in PocoMail 3)! Sure, it s not free, but trust me, it s money well spent!

How can Max give this away?
MAX`s HTML Beauty++ 2004
OK, it could use a better name, but Max´s HTML Beauty really packs a punch with the features that it offers, and it´s excellent interface. Every new HTML coder should start with this app.

Look no further for your audio CD-burning needs
Feurio!
Absolutely the best app out there for creating audio CD´s. Feurio gives you COMPLETE control over every aspect of the recording process.

Fantastic CD and MP3 player!
Quintessential Player (QCD)
This player makes an excellent CD player, and does a great job at playing MP3 files, as well. If you re not concerned with a built-in library, then QCD is for you. The interface is too cool for words!

Opera 7 is impressive!
Opera
The long-awaited final version Opera 7 is finally out, and it was worth waiting for! Opera 7 features a slick new interface (which is easily configurable, despite what you my read in other comments). Opera 7 also has a password manager (The Wand), a innovative e-mail client/newsreader (M2), a site navigation bar, and the too-cool "fast-forward" button. I have had very few rendering problems, and those are most likely due to non-standard programming. Opera 7 works just fine with my banking site (Bank of America). The best thing about Opera is probably the speed. The rendering speed versus IE is noticeably quicker! If you don t mind a fairly non-intrusive banner ad, and a dialog box at launch, you can use Opera for free. Opera is a browser worth paying for!

The very best!
Advanced Launcher
Advanced Launcher has an excellent interface, tons of features, is very customizable and is easy to use. What more could you want? There is no need to check out any other launcher. Advanced Launcher is it!

Too cool!
AtStart Page
@Start page is too cool! I love seeing my recently entered URL's. (This is handy when doing comparison shopping). I have quick access to my favorites, and history. Windows Explorer is even embedded into the page!

Best client
PocoMail
PocoMail has all of the features you want (and then some), with an excellent interface, and it's easy to use. Add the fact that it's virtually virus proof, and you have a top-notch e-mail client! I have been using it for more than a year now.

Very nice!
PowerEdit
PowerEdit has a nice set of features, although it lacks a true "word wrap". I believe that it is in the works. PowerEdit has a nice interface, and even has a cool "3D" color picker.

Forget Weather Bug!
Weather Watcher
Forget Weather Bug, Weather Watcher not only looks better, but has a nice small "footprint". Try it and you will agree. Send the author some PayPal funds to say "keep up the great work"; I did.

Nice!
IrfanView
IrfanView is very nice if you are stuck with a Win9x machine. Tons of features and it's fast as well.

The "drop-target" is a godsend!
NeoDownloader
This program is so easy to use, there oughtta be a law! See a web page with thumbnails of images you would like to download? Drop the IE icon in your browswer's address bar on the drop-target and that's it! You also get an excellent image viewer and organizer with slide shows and more. Yes, it is pricey, but it's worth it. Don't even bother looking for anything else; nothing else out there even comes close to Express WebPictures!

Powerful and easy to use
Lupas Rename
I had used some great renaming utilities in BeOS, but this one is even better, with more features, and it's just as easy to use.

Why use notepad?
EditPad Lite
With software like EditPad Light, there's absolutely no reason why you should use notepad. You can use it as your default text editor.

WooHoo!
Atnotes
Exactly what a sticky notes program should be! "'Nuff said"

The best there is!
RoboForm
Easily the best one out there. It works, and works well, and is easy to configure.

Better than HomeSite!
Spider Writer
It's a lot like HomeSite 5, but it has better dialog boxes, as well as extras like an FTP client, and an image mapper. You really owe it to yourself to check it out.
