qleft  Manage those mini notes  qright

CintaNotes version BetaM9.0
  • Interface: 5
  • Features: 5
  • Ease of use: 5
  • Value: 5
  • Overall: 5

This is a very simple and convenient piece of software. I like it's style. OK - it doesn't have loads of features but that's the way I like it - simple. Nonetheless, it has 2 big features [tagging and search] which is very good for managing mini notes and clippings from the net. Another nice feature is that when you highlight or select text from a web page and insert it (ctrl + F12) it automatically embeds the web link into the note - select the note in the list and press F3 to go to that web page for browsing. That's a nice feature you don't see everywhere! I like this little gem! One thing should be understood; tags = categories. I'm satisfied and will be watching for updates. All I can say is: try it, it does more than you think...

TaggedFrog version 1.0.2

I really appreciate this software because of the fact that it helps me to be organized just the way I like it! Working with "tags" (at least in my opinion), is the best way to structure an organized view of issues on my computer. I can even assign multiple tags to items - this is my kind of software. I'm so happy I discovered this...

ERUNT
  • Freeware
  • Win2000/XP/2003/Vista

qleft  More than reliable!  qright

ERUNT version 1.1j
  • Interface: 5
  • Features: 5
  • Ease of use: 5
  • Value: 5
  • Overall: 5

ERUNT settles it for me. This is so simple to use and definitely a MUST HAVE for all computers. Another nice point, is during the install process, you can select to auto backup the registry every time you load Windows (in case you forget to do it manually). Now that's reliable! Restore is so simple as well, go to the backup folder and select which date to restore from. Click on the exe file in that folder and presto! it's done. Truly a life-saver.

qleft  Great program - yet falling behind the trends  qright

Keynote version 1.6.5
  • Interface: 3
  • Features: 3
  • Ease of use: 3
  • Value: 3
  • Overall: 3

A very good and over-rated program. A few years ago it deserved the 5 star rating - but not today. These reviews should be updated. Keynote is falling well behind current software trends... There are many of the today's features missing in this abandoned project. Move on...
