This one does it all, folks - for free! It doesn't hog your system resources and gives you all of the options and settings you could ever want. Even if you really don't understand all of the hoopla about RSS, this program will enable you to keep a check on your favorite sites simply by copying the feed URL and pasting it into the GreatNews program. And GreatNews will even FIND the feed for you, if you so choose. Do give this program a try!

I've been using EvilLyrics for over a year now, and with each new updated version, the features just keep getting better. Supports practically any popular media player you can imagine; the Ello lyrics database plugin keeps your downloaded lyrics well-organized; has support for karaoke files; several other plugins available; customizable appearance of lyrics, taskbar mode. This is the last lyrics search tool you'll ever need.

MetaPad is the most beautiful piece of free software ever written. After 7 years of testing out dozens of text editors (both shareware & freeware alike), I have never come across a more stable, versatile and user-friendly program. Nowadays, I cannot imagine how I ever got along without it. MetaPad is the perfect Notepad replacement, the perfect all-purpose file viewer, and the perfect HTML/CSS/DHTML/PHP/Javascript editor. This is a must-have program for both experienced Windows users and novices.
