I've tried out several gallery programs and this knocks the socks off the rest. Excellent program and it's updated regularly. There's a lively community forum on the home website if you need any help. It isn't the simplest program to use and has a wealth of useful features but isn't full of worthless bloat. With a little experimenting you can find how versatile JAlbum is, especially if you want it to blend with your own website. I heartily recommend this one.

Sorry I can't agree with most other reviews here. Based on reviews I decided to try it out. It looks good and seems to have good features. That said however, I'm glad I did my standard procedure of backing up my registry first. Let's just say the "automatic backup" it performed didn't work well for me. I certainly wouldn't trust this one again.

I've just installed this and can't believe how easy it is to use. I've took it through it paces and had no problems, fast zipping and unzipping. Ability to open CD files is a bonus for me. Nice clean, simple yet attractive interface. Right-click on archive file, pick ALZip from menu to extract files - perfect! Creating archive files equally easy, including splitting. Not the smallest program out there but not the largest either - not filled with unnecessary bloat. Finally, creator/s haven't ignored Windows 98SE users either. I will always use ALZip now, many thanks!

This is the only firewall I know of that allows me to send and receive files over YIM with no problems. However, it's not worth it due to the continual lockups I get. They usually last for 20 seconds at a time occuring every 5 minutes or less, then eventually my computer completely freezes and I have to reboot. I'm giving this program the boot too.

Sorry not worth it

I installed and ran this program correctly but unfortunately it had the opposite effect of what it was for. Instead of boosting my connection, it actively slowed it down. Not only did my cursor behave sluggishly, but accessing favourite web sites took noticably longer than on previous average. I tried it at different times to make sure it wasn't a case of it being a busy time on the net. The interface is clear and uncluttered and easy to use. I'm sorry I can't say better than that.
