Since AusLogics Registry Defrag has been pulled out of the freeware box, they now present us with AusLogics Registry Cleaner! This new tool comes in a very easy interface and allows you to restore your registry in no time! I happened to mess things up when I ticked the "Software" box in the advanced registry scan and surely enough, the easy registry backup mechanism saved the day!

Registry cleaning software has a poor reputation, as it often makes promises about huge increases in performance that it cannot deliver. Auslogics Registry Cleaner does not fall into this trap, and promised me less than a 1% increase in speed after the cleanup. The changes can be undone easily, which is important if any problems occur. Good value for freeware.
