Excellent for encrypting individual files. A bit annoying, though when working with multiple files, as the "Working" message keeps flashing in your face, even when minimised. Perhaps an option to permanently hide it would be a good idea. Overall, though a really good program

Efficiently and easily encrypts image files and decrypts to either file or memory. When decrypting to memory thumbnails almost instantly appear and can then be viewed individually or as a slide show with the embedded image viewer. A great piece of freeware.

I downloaded and installed the software and it works. Compared to some (commercial) products this seems very fast and very usable. I have been using it for a little while now with no problems at all. It has never corrupted a file, and I have never had a problem decrypting. I do not really encrypt much - just things like tax returns and accounts so I did not want any fancy features. I did want to make sure that sensitive personal information was protected. I originally stored these sort of things using WinZip's password protect feature - but we all know that the encryption it uses is weak and can be broken. The software has a really nice feature - application lock. This allows you to prevent someone running an application unless they have your password! You can also create a self extracting file and email it which is useful for sending encrypted stuff between different email accounts. I would really recommend this software - it is free and does what it says it does

This is a splendid program which, because of it's option to decrypt to memory, means less chance of a file becoming corrupted as happens with other programs I have tried. It has proved to be stable and reliable
