Not bad, not bad at all.
I only use Yahoo Widgets for a particular widget that shows me my CPU and RAM usage, as well as my Battery percentage. (I like the fact that you can set the widget so it cannot be moved, clicked on, or dragged) I haven't experienced any difference in the Windows experience. No lags, no freezes, nothing. Hover, it IS just one widget. I'm not sure how much resources this program will hog if you were to have more widgets installed. I can see how this will be useful though.

Excellent and fun.
I have used this product before Yahoo purchased the company known as 'Konfabulator'. It was free then and still is. The software installation is the same as any other. Mostly simple. The reviewer "ruthless" spoke of his/her difficulty. Unless you click to the contrary, Yahoo Widgets will open another folder than the one you already use for widgets. This makes it seem you lost the downloads.. The amount of resources used depends on the widget. As with any new install, it is wise to READ the instructions accompanying the software on the web site. All in all I have used Yahoo Widgets for about 7+ years. It is easier and less resource heavy than "DesktopX". Plus there are no fees along with thousands of free widgets. Enough for every use and taste. Good luck and good hunting, widget hunting that is.

Huge disappointment
One of the biggest disappointments in ages..The concept is great...however most widgets wouldn't download and when I finally managed to download some they disappeared from the widget folder...and because it is a huge "resource hog" I didnt think it was worth persevering ...Just as well it is free..I would not have been pleased to have paid for it... Please note that this is my personal experience...your experience with this program could be different..
