Simplicity is a virtue
I have had XXCOPY for many years and find it a very powerful tool - its simplicity and versitility is its real strength. The owner has done a tremendous job over YEARS keeping it up to date and refining its functions, so I think he has every right to ask for payment after 90days use.

Xxcopy personal use
Xxcopy works well, provided one can use DOS-type syntax, and can easily be batch-filed for repetitive tasks. My comment is that, despite the disclaimer of being "freeware for personal users", it quickly becomes NAGware. After about 3 months, your batch file suddenly produces silly messages like: " this version of xxcopy has not been tested in this environment" (despite having done exactly that without a problem for the last 3 months), or: " press any key to continue or xxcopy will stop" (makes a nonsense of the automation of batch files) The purpose of the NAGS of course is to drive you into purchasing the Pro copy. NAGware is truly poor marketing
