Another awesome peice of software!
This is awesome, if you want full blown power-user machine, also get Deskpins, Trayit, Launchtab, Stick, Dexpot, Rerange Task, and Hotkeys, winroll hides the window so only the titlebar shows, which is way better than sending to taskbar for a simple task.. i think windowblinds offer this in some of the themes but winroll is not bloat, and very low on resources My two complaints are that it only does standard windows e.g. not fully customized like Spyware Sweeper, or Artrage, ect. because they will either do nothing or freeze up as minized state. And another thing is that when i winroll a window that is in background and un-winroll it becomes foreground in front of a window i was working on i guess that is windows, and not winroll, that's all. Despite that.. this is definitely worth it, and it's free.. cant go wrong with that.

Winroll just works
Only 2 reviews ? But I suppose the other reviewers said it already. WinRoll just works. I use it on all my Win2k and XP computers. Thanks to the author for a great piece of software.

Like it a lot, very easy to use...
And isn't a resource hog. And the AIM problem mentioned is all fixed now, so no worries there anymore. Roll up windows, make them transparent, send them to the back, minimize them to the tray, always on top; a lot of functionality, but easy and intuitive.

Convenient and useful
I think this is a great app. It uses very little memory (about 168k on my system), yet provides a tremendous amount of functionality-- transparency, "windowshading", Always On Top, send to back, minimize to tray, etc-- all accessible via the existing windows titlebar buttons(minimize, maximize and close). Program configuration is very straight-forward and easy to understand. Not so intuitive, though, is that the Help file is essentially part of the About window. There, by mousing over different window elements you get usage instructions. WinRoll works as expected with just about all of my apps, hasn't crashed on me, or caused any system errors. Also, my personal experience has been that the author is very responsive to user feedback/questions. And perhaps most amazing of all... it's free. No banners, no nag windows, no registration required, no crippled functionality, just free.
