Not for everyone
This utility does work but you have to really know what you're doing. The interface is complicated and NOT user friendly.

Wow and wow
Yep, this will do everything it says and more. My fault was having to clean the fish aquarium while setting snap files as the page, had nearly a gig and going, yikes. But in my lesson, it clearly creates a browsable environment copying nearly every aspect of a web site. This is completely awesome and the price, wow, FREE??? Try to find this kind of quality freeware in a non paid... I don't think so Tim. Even if you don't feel you would use it all the time, download it, keep it handy, it's a freeware treasure.

Best site download tool available...
This has got to be the best site download tool available, or at least the engine which runs it! I'll tell you why, I've found through a little RandD that most of the other products out there are based off of this one and every time this one comes out with an update, soon after the others do. The only thing benefiting the aftermarket copy cats is they have a pretty interface which may or may not make them a little easier to use. The downfall of using them, you must PAY$$$ for those products using the same exact technology which is really free right here!

This is as good as it gets
You can't find the facilities in downloaders you pay for that you get here for FREE. Don't be a dummy and pay for an inferior item, get this for nada.

Works very well straight up
Easy and simple to use. Just accept the default settings. It even creates a simple web page of sites you've downloaded, all ready to burn to a CD. I'm looking to create a CD for seniors to work through tutorials and computer material. Many are on dial up and some don't even have Internet access so this is ideal. Thanks millions for sharing this.

This is the best of the best
I am new to stuff like this, but wanted something to copy a website with music, and beautiful pictures to be able to access offline later on. (Especially since I still have the old dial up connection) Leaving the program set to the Defaults, I was able to get it done, both on Mozilla Firefox 1.0.3 and IE, without any problems at all and it didn't take but a couple minutes. This program is truly easy to use, for the less experienced such as myself, or others with more. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to everyone.

The best
You have a lot of options and filters. With WinHTTrack you can specify a list of websites dat must be included and/or excluded in the external links during the download.

This is the best freeware website copier!
I use WinHTTrack on a regular basis. It will copy the entire webpage, and if you like...Every website and link! You have options as to how deep you may want to copy links. If you set it to 1 then it copies the entire website + goes one link deeper. I like the control I have with the options.

Powerful, but difficult to use.
I cannot remember how many times it either returned to me 0 pages, or stucked trying to download the whole WWW. It is very powerful, and it completed some tasks other programs couldn't, but it is extremely hard to use. If you want to just to download several pages for later viewing try Offline Commander. This one is for more serious tasks. There is great supportive forum as well.

Amazing and genuinely free!
Used on XP and 2000 without problems for over a year, just got the latest version, thought it was time I reviewed it! Really easy to install, config and use. Great for personal and professional use, I use it a lot to get full documentation (eg: XML and Java specs) from official websites. Also good to get fun stuff from music and film sites, etc, you can get "the lot" in one go. Does everything I can think of!

Holy crap! it works!
Wow, I have to say I am impressed. It does exactly what it says it does - beautifully. It took very little configuration to download my first site. Keep up the good work!

Best Freeware of its Kind
I ve used this program for several years, and it just keeps getting better. Even though newer operating systems have facilitated a greater degree of site downloading, the extra features of WinHTTrack are wonderful. WinHTTrack has served me well under WIN98, NT4, WIN2K on Dell, Gateway, Packard Bell, and HP PCs. As a government employee, I have frequent need of entire sites containing data, graphs, text items, forms, PDF files etc. relevant to Departmental business. WinHTTrack has been a lifesaver for my making deadlines on presentations of up-to-the-minute information. I m just getting ready for my first go at WinHTTrack on a Dell using XP OS.
