Almost perfect
It looks way better than Weather Pulse but lacks a travelers map which was an excellent addition in weather pulse. Ironically both programs are buggy when it comes to font selection (weather pulse gets nutty when you scroll through fonts and the bold italics often gets selected and in weather watcher you can't set the font to full white). Though weather pulse is ugly and has that awful java menu or whatever it is, that travelers map makes a huge difference.

A real winner
All hail Mike Singer...Thank you for this. A comprehensive view of the weather world wide..there is even an optional satellite view, lives neatly in the task bar and just shows the temp. Move your mouse on to it to see more detailed info, hourly ..daily ,weekly ,whatever options you want... Very Highly Recommended, and its free...amazing

The program is good but I would like to have a better radar picture for my own area.

Adware version solved
I emailed Mike the developer and as I clearly saw on the download page there are 2 versions-here is his response: The "Bundle Setup" at www.GetWeatherWatcher.com does contain WhenU SaveNow, as noted on the download page. If you would not like to use WhenU SaveNow, then install the "Full Setup". I dislike the fact he has that version but at least he admits it so.

Be careful...
Be careful. Download this incorrectly and it will come with Adware. [Editor: There is a version available from the author`s site that comes bundled with adware. The version you download from us does NOT contain any adware]

With this you don't need the weather channel
This is a nice little program thats visually easy to understand and gives you various ways to view weather, by day, week, hourly and has lots of other nice features. I highly recommend it! My thanks and compliments to the author for this nice FREE program.

Only the best!
I have tried (as far as I can tell) almost every weather tracking program there is, and have always come back to this one. It has come to the point where I don't even look anymore. This is one of the best pieces of software I've ever had the pleasure to use. Fully configurable, great interface, does exactly what almost anyone would want.

A mut have...
Try this program and you will squash the adware/spyware full Weather Bug (although they deny it). Hourly forecast from weather.com (without opening your browser) is excellent. Even though, the forecast is almost for two weeks ahead, just believe only the first 3-4 days (not a bug in the program, but limitations on the accuracy of the computers used to do the forecast). It is easy to use and it gives you everything that you would want to know about the weather in your home town. It does not bother you with advertising or constantly trying to dial-up to the internet. You can set it not to start with Windows. It is extremely intuitive and uses very little system resources. This is the fastest and easiest way to check weather with current conditions, hourly and daily forecasts along with forecast in detail. Full featured, spyware/adware/malware free, weather program.

Awesome!
This program is far better than spywarey or adwarey Weatherbug, or the junk The Weather Channel put on my computer from their software. Provides a nice current condition pop up when you put your mouse over the icon in the tray. Gets weather info quickly, nice hour by hour and day by day forecasts from the weather channel without opening your browser! Love it!

I absolutely love it.
I absolutely love it. It is easy to use and it gives you everything that you would want to know about your home town. I also liked the fact that you are not bothered with advertising. Also the program isn't constantly trying to dial-up to the internet, like other programs that I have tried. I also like the fact that you can set it so it doesn't start with windows. I have enough programs starting so, I want to start weather watcher when I want to. The price is excellent. I can't recommend this weather monitor enough! I have been searching for this program for a while now. All I can say to the creator is THANK YOU!

One of the most useful tools
I'm using WW for a very very long time, before it became top gun. I can tell one thing: I rely more on the data that provides WW than TV. It's more accurate. Plus the ability to add unlimited number of cities and change them in one click, it's brilliant. The forecast is almost for two weeks ahead. Also forecast by hour is excellent.

Great weather utility!!
This is an excellent program and it is very easy to set many preferences. It is extremely intuitive so the learning curve is minuscule. No annoying flashing balloons like Weather Bug when an alert is issued, and no pestering to select sponsors. Weather Watcher just displays a brief alert message in a balloon and if you want more info it is there to get. Try this program and you will squash Weather Bug.

What more could you ask for?
Smashing! It does what it says on the tin PLUS it's interface/appearance is a little quirky. To some this may be a downside, but to me it's refreshing - the dull same-old,same-old /standard/ micro$oft look has been replaced by a usable, if not pretty, look and feel. I only wish it could improve the weather in my part of the world - it's raining... again!

Not my style
The interface is very strange, I do not like the feel of it and the looks. I cannot enlarge like I need but can with other programs. It also gave troubles with installation and would not load, finally after 2nd time installing and rebooting, which I hate, it worked.

Best
This is the best weather program I have found - freeware or shareware. For starters, from where I'm sitting (Thailand), it has international cities. Another thing that I like is that it has the heat index ("feels like")right there in the tool bar for you. This program is easy to use, light on resources and has all the weather info you need. Finally, a question to the developer was answered very promptly.

Best choice for weather
Works dependably with an incredibly pleasing presentation. Many configuration options, yet easy to use. Unlike many other programs, this program downloads data on a schedule and displays the latest data, rather than getting everything whenever displayed. So this is superb on slower connections as well.

Fastway to check weather
This is the fastest and easiest way to check weather with current conditions, hourly and daily forecasts along with forecast in detail. It uses weather.com data but browsing all of the above forecast information in weather.com is really time consuming one. Very useful program.

Wonderful
This is the most feature loaded and reliable weather monitoring program that I have used. I've installed it on my 3 computers under WIN 98, ME, and XP. I have never had a malfunction or problem of any type. I find it to be the most reliable program of its kind and highly recommend it for reliability and user friendly features and interface. All thumbs up!

Forget Weather Bug!
Forget Weather Bug, Weather Watcher not only looks better, but has a nice small "footprint". Try it and you will agree. Send the author some PayPal funds to say "keep up the great work"; I did.
