WeatherMate is an excellent desktop or systray weather monitor. Comprehensive, easy to use option set. 100-percent free. No ads, pop-ups or other annoyances. Shows international weather and forecasts but does not show alerts for non-U.S. locations. Perhaps a future revision will make this feature available. Highly recommended.

This Is An Awesome Weather Program. Does not contain Any Hidden Junk ( Like Spyware Or Adware Or Viruses ) inside the Install Package. So When you do Install This Clean Program There Will be No Hidden Surprises.

Comparatively to other weather programs the footprint is large, system resource usage is excessive and the program is slow on load and update. The weather information displayed is typical with a small doppler weather display. I have recommended this program for one reason. The program is contradictory whereas it has a very small display which would be an issue for someone with poor eyesight however the program can speak the weather which makes it ideal for someone with poor eyesight!

It's small and unobtrusive, can be hidden to the system tray, and even contained my little town in it's city list. Uses about 20mb of memory when running. That's about average with others that I've used. The one thing I don't like is that there is no option to make the radar image larger, or change it to another type of image for my area.
