Simple to set up and use. The only GUI based utility that can give you your ISP allocated IP if you connect via a LAN. And it does it without relying on external sites (as the other utilities in this class do) by screenscraping the IP off your router's setup/status page. Additionally it also can be used to FTP the new IP to a configurable web site or to email someone with a changed IP. Those last two I didn't test, no time, but there is no reason it won't work. There is one minor gripe:- that it doesn't find the IP initially when launched (after install and setup). You have to hit a button. No reason for that, the code is already there to do it. I passed this on to the author. If you need that IP then its a lot less hassle than logging onto your router to get it. And if you want to access your home machine or office machine remotely the latest IP will be in the email. Download now!

Update is in the works. Here s some of what s coming: - Added support for SMTP Authentication. - Now when "Start Polling" is clicked (or started with "AutoPoll") it will immediately poll w/o waiting for the first interval. - Mouse-over SystemTray Icon will show current IP. - Does not attempt e-mail/ftp if offline condition detected (IP from router is 0.0.0.0, 000.000.000.000, etc.). All of this is done, I m just contemplating other enhancements based on some feedback before releasing the next version.
