I use it for e-mailings testing
We send over three e-mailings a week. To test the 2.0 HTML for e-mailings for Gmail, Hotmail and Outlook clients, I use Vallen e-Mailer. Vallen e-mailer is easy to use. Just paste your HTML and TXT version, load a list off users in a .txt file and off you go. One thing we miss is personalized e-mailing. Where you could say: Dear John Smith, We would like to bladiebla etc.

Nifty program
To do html emails, you need to know some html, but you don't need to know anything to do plain text emails. The setup was very easy, and their instructions in the Help file are very clear. Be sure to save your html if you want to use it again as the program wipes out all the code when you close it. All in all a terrific little program that really does the trick for bulk emailing. It even produces a detailed log. I'd recommend it to anyone who's willing to spend a little time to get it set up and sorted out.

Not that bad, but... not smart enough
The most difficult for a newsletter is not being catched by a spam filter... So I tried sending mails to fastmail (fitted with SpamAssassin and others) and the (basic) one included in Outlook 2003. The results are not brilliant; I made at least 50 tests, sending html or not, attaching pictures or not, and went to the conclusion that it was too difficult to send mail properly. This mailer sends too poorly formatted emails and allows to send messages not sticking enough to RFC recommandations (subject sent twice, html without pure text part, ...) Still a good choice when spam catching is not an issue : this program is fast and easy to use. MG

Good, steady performance
I have found that a lot of mailing list programs try and do too much, and this one seems to do exactly what it says - sends emails. I only have one bell request - the ability to customise some of the content for each individual subscriber. Otherwise - very well done!

Easy but i miss the individual name
It's really simple, easy to use, can send txt and HTML format, SMTP authorization is really supported, the address list is a Txt file, but you can't use other field on the mail or message

Good at what it does
I needed a nice, simple way to send out HTML email newsletters, and this app does the job nicely. I especially like the html preview function and the way you can keep all your emails in a serperate text file. Very easy, simple and functional. I only wish there were a way to save emails as a template, so you don't have to recreate the whole thing each time you startup.

Very good
The easiest program I have found to send mail to large numbers of people including some pay-for programs.
