For years I have been cursing Microsoft for not allowing the task bar elements to be rearranged. Why Microsoft, why?! Finally I decided to see what the internet had to say about the problem and lo and behold I came upon Taskbar Shuffle. Thank you thank you thank you task bar Gods!

This is a must have. I have used it for over a year. The *only* drawback is that it uses 3000k of RAM memory - but that isn't a problem, because if you really need that pittance, you can just close the program from the system tray. It starts with windows. Really, this should have been included in windows in the first place.

I have been wishing a program like this existed for years. Today I discovered Taskbar Shuffle and installed it immediately on XP Pro. Let me say that it's like manna from heaven! I am now able to arrange my taskbar buttons in the order I prefer. This should be a standard feature in Windows--especially Vista. But alas, Microsoft is too focused on adding features that have minimal impact on users.

Yes! I prefer the buttons in the order that I decide it is better for me. You see, knowing where the application "usually is" is way faster than "mousing" for it.

This enables me to rearrange those buttons on WinXP's taskbar. Really makes using my PC more enjoyable.

I enjoy this program because I don't have to think about it. I just arrange my programs in the task bar the way that is most efficient for me and go back to work.

Why has not MS already included this functionality into the taskbar. OK I admit that it's the similar functionality in Firefox taskbar that made me realize the need. Doubt that I would have thought about it otherwise. But when you think about it it's so obvious that you wonder why it's not in windows from scratch.

Did what it was meant to, i'm not sure why Microsoft don't build this into Windows as a standard feature. On the 2nd day however it caused all sorts of access violations and I had to uninstall it but if you can keep it working it's a great program.

Makes the Windows XP task bar your task bar. Ease to use. It does exactly what it says it does. It has become part of my standard kit since I first loaded it a couple of weeks ago. Highly recommended to all geeks.
