Whether you are a newbie to graphics and image manipulation or someone (like me} with pro graphics experience and growing video editing skills, with just a little time and effort, you'll pull of some stunning stuff in various formats (web to film). And it's fun. I just recently upgraded to v.2 and its features vastly improved the flexibility of this already great program. Now it includes rain, rain puddles and snow effects. The Baseline option also greatly helps get realistic reflections. If you're new to this sort of thing, you may wish get the active tutorials (Flash format) available at the site -- this even though the still Examples tutorials that come with the program are well done too. Bottom line: If you want to turn stills into mini movies using very tweakable water effects, you get professional grade for a wonderful non-price - and its a blast to use. Hats off to Jeremy for creating and offering this gem to us :)

I make memory web pages for people and this Sqirlz Water Reflections makes each page more special. The water reflections are very real looking. Compared to other programs is easy and fast to use. I have recommended to all my friends.

If you have some sea or lake scenery photos and you want to add some animated wave effects to your photos, this is just the right and working tool for that purpose. Thanks to the author for releasing this nice program as a freeware.

Surprisingly nice, free program!

Very easy to learn and start using, and the results are much better than I expected. The default settings for the appearance of the water are good, and there at least five parameters for changing the texture and speed of the motion - not to mention the option for changing the frame rate once you start to save the file. Two small issues I have noticed are, first, that the program doesn't seem to be able to open its saved outline (.otn) files. No problem, just make sure you get everything done right the first time and export the finished product as a flash or avi. Second, I have not been able to use the "outline new segment" button to outline a new segment that does not touch the first one. You can get around this somewhat, but it would be convenient to be able to "lift" the mouse from one spot to another. Overall, this is one of the funnest and most useful freeware apps I have seen in a while. It is definitely worth the download!

This is a fun program. It took me some experimentation with the options but I can get some really neat effects now. I just couldn't stop playing around with it and my immagination went wild for bit. Hope others enjoy as much I have.
