Although I haven't gone through ALL the text-to-speech programs out there, I highly recommend this piece of software. It is incredibly easy to use, and has a wide selection of voices to choose from. A simple CTRL + C when the program is running will have it read all text selected. An absolutely wonderful and small download.

I use this all the time so i dont have to read stuff. It reads stuff copied to the clip board. Voices can be adjusted to have different sounds and if you look around you can find different voices and languages online.

Pretty cool, it can open text documents and read them, or read what i type, or whats copied via clipboard, and read websites, it has lots of simple controls, like the voice speed, pitch, but the womens voice sounds like the computer is talking into a glass cup.. Additionally it can only read/open text, i need something for .pdf documents preferably free, it has a free registration to unlock more features though it's useful.. I couldnt get the darn registration to work!! but the program still works fine without it.

This program works great. Been using it for a few weeks and so far no problems whatsoever. Love the ability to generate wave files.

Free but super buggy
