Pay for this?
You can get better results for free from NEAT IMAGE. The only reason you would want this is for the occasional PS touch-up and having it as a plug-in would be convenient, but to pay for it? Sorry.

Neat Image is certainly an interesting plugin, though it is intended for a different purpose. Neat Image removes noise from digital photos. Softener is different, it is designed to create the soft focus effects that glamor and wedding photographers use. (Though Softener can also reduce some noise as a side effect.) I should also point out that Neat Image is not free. At the time of writing, the cost of a Neat Image licence varies between $29.95 and $74.90 (prices from http://www.neatimage.com/purchase.html). Softener is at least half the price.
