Indispensable
Marvelous piece of software. I couldn't do without it at work. some of the data I use is buried deep on the network in directories... This makes it a breeze. Just create a new Magic Word called 'Maps' and I can go straight there.

Cannot live without...
SlickRun is without a doubt the most time saving software around. I could not survive without it. This software should be required for all operating systems. Try it out (hey it's free) and I guarantee you will wonder how you survived without it.

Great productive utility that's easy to learn
SlickRun became my firm favorite after many trials of other program launchers. A tiny input window allows you to effectively and rapidly accesses any file, folder, application or website that you want using your own keywords. Intelligent history function auto-completes all inputs for rapid launching. I like the extras such as available system memory readout, instant built-in saveable notes jotter and configurable date display. It's easy to setup, as it supports drag 'n drop of almost any object on your computer; autofills search queries for Google , yahoo etc. launching browser and results all in one and allows other programmable parameters for local application inputs. Give yourself a week learning with SlickRun and you can clear your desktop of most of the icon garbage and work more efficiently. Good support network via forum, active development and excellent help file. Small memory usage and system requirements . This is the one to have!

Slickrun - thats it
This is one of the few Power tools - I can't live without. It saves me hours fiddling with the mouse. If only all software was written this way. Keep going. Highly recommended Jan Denmark

Compulsory download
The software is so unobtrusive, took me a while to detect it was running. From then on, using it is as intuitive as falling in love....

Can't live without it!
The more productive you get in Windows, the more you use the keyboard and the command line. Now try SlickRun! Imagine opening the "add/remove programs" (not a straightforward process in Windows) with one keyboard cmd, or open your email & your web browser at the same time, or doing a Google search (or any search) without having to go to the site first. No crazy commands to remember either. You can create nicknames for your commands. Example: Go to http://www.snapfiles.com/whatsnew.html by typing the shortcut key (which can be anything you want) to open SlickRun, type snapfiles" (or any magic word you config), hit enter, & your browser goes there (SlickRun works with Opera, Firefox, IE, & others). SlickRun has command auto-complete and many more features! I've used this program for years. Great config, easy to use, receptive developer, and free! Try it for a few days and youll wonder how you lived without it!

I can't believe how much i use this...
I didn't think I'd like this at first (How could typing be better than a mouse?), but now I use it every day. It's so nice being able to just type the name of the program you want to use, rather than hunt it down in the start menu. I like that you can use a single keyword to start multiple programs or websites. It has lots of nifty configuration options too.

A fun small wonder
This is an all around great program. I love the idea of typing the first few letters of the word "morning" and the quick response of having E-mail and my favorite news source land on the desktop. The program is intuitive, stable, easily configurable and limited only to your imagination. Slick, clever, and smooth are all appropriate adjectives for this small wonder.

Slick Run, deserves nothing but a 5 in my opinion. I've been using it for over a year and the time it saves me is invaluble..It is the first program I start in the morning and it's with me all day. Try it you won't believe how easy and comfortable it is to use..Thumbs UP!!

Easier than start menu/hotkey/toolbars
The best and easiest way to open up programs. No more having to dig through the start menu, no more having to remember hotkey combos (if you can't remember what word your using for a program with Slick Run, just hit Alt+Space and then follow the MagicWords submenu to find a list), and no more having to switch back and forth from keyboard to mouse for a link (and unlike StartMenu>Run, you only have to remember a word, rather than an entire path)..

Small screen space while impressive features
As a many year user of this little GEM it is worth exploring as an alternative to overuse of mouse/icon/menus. It is a very small single executable taking a simple word to execute a program. SlickRun also has a simple running note file, user definable time/date display that does double duty overlaying the small command line window. The author is nice, experienced and replies to questions and suggestions which are often implemented in updates.
