There are different versions of Shareaza. Version numbers like 2.3.x are usually fine and work as you'd expect. BUT! They will warn you about an "update" to 4.0 which you should NOT allow because it's a dirty trick from someone else, it's not from the same author, it acually has nothing to do with the good old Shareaza. 4.0 will not allow you to download torrent and stuff, but instead offers a nice-and-dumb interface to buy music online. So just keep the old 2.x versions running and you'll be fine. The REAL Shareaza is the best p2p tool I've ever used, and all I can say is thank you guys.

Its really good, rarely crashes. Automatically searches for more sources... One problem though: high on system resources.

Simply one of the best i try and i try a lot great preview so you know from the start what your downloading and at the search you also view the available speed very easy to use if you are with no expirience

Because of the easy to use GUI alone, I would recommend this program, but continuing on it has more usable features, allowing you to share files with anyone on the Gnutella networks. The lack of spyware attached to it makes it a safe choice. There is no secrets here, and hopefully never will be. I'm giving it a thumbs up!

Ease of use, nice interface, more hits on a requested file. The best thing is there is no spyware. Impressive program, highly recommend it!

Shareaza is more better than Kazaa, Kazaa Lite and others. No spywares install on the istallation. Fastest download, good interface.

This is the best P2P by Far... allows you to connect to many different types of networks. I get super speeds from this app. Totaly better then KaZaA or Napster
