Very nice little app. It would be even better if it could also mark folders to be removed on the next reboot, not only files.

A very worthwhile program to have. It's perfect for deleting adware .exe's and .dll's that persist and it's great for dumping those .dat files in your Cookies, History and Temporary Internet folders too. I was a beta tester for Memphis so I have many tools in my utility folder and now this one has been added near the top. By the way, I run Windows 95B and 95C and it works with those operating systems too and that should be advertised. Just be sure that you know what you're going to delete with it because on reboot that file will be gone. I wish there was something that worked this well on fire ants here in Florida. Kudos to the programmer of this one.

The program does what it says. I had a file that would not go away and tried everything than I surfed to snapfiles for back up and found this program. it.s real simple install, right click and reboot the file is gone. thanks to the the folks who wrote this. thanks to snapfiles for making it accessible as well as many other great programs

This is a simple and very useful extension. I for one am sick of trying to delete things you have no use for, only to find there's a program thats hiding somewhere using the file, I don't recommend this to Novice PC users as there generally IS a reason why it's locked but it does what it says on the tin and is great for removing those irritating Spyware bugs by ripping out an organ or two (DLL's etc) that they require. I'd recommend it to any advanced user that wants a simple way to get rid of unneeded/troublesome files. Congratulations to the creator.

This tool is simply amazing, if you have files that you cannot remove because of a shared violation or anything. This tool is a godsend. Simple just right click on the file and click on remove on next reboot. I was tearing my brains out for months, trying to get rid of these files,I surfed the net everywhere. Tried all the usual methods... Safe Mode/Exit Explorer/Rename File e.t.c. and none of them worked. And you would have to be a whizz kid to follow some of the other methods of removing them. I thank SNAPFILES with all my heart, for inventing a pure magic utillity. (Editor's note: We don't make the software.)
