Aggressive enough and safe to use
I have used RFA from 3.0 to 6.1. I have tried other registry tools that are more aggressive. (found more bad entries) But none were as reliable as RFA. My PC boots every time after a cleaning and/or defrag of the registry. Some experts say not to use registry cleaners at all, but RFA allows me to find things that I know are junk and get rid of them without looking for the operating system cd or other software. Plus, it has a reliable un do process or restore point. As far as tech support, it is almost instant response. I had a question about 6.1 and the tech was available on Thanksgiving. The scans and defrag take a lot of time, but they do a process of confirming their findings.

The best reg cleaner I found
This is a simple reg cleaner, it offers a very comprehensive help file. I dont have any problems with it, but I would say if you use it and are uncertain of an entry, leave it and ask an expert. It is very easy to mess up the registry if you dont know what you are modifying.

The ace of cleaners
Registry First Aid is the best registry cleaner I've found (and I've tried many). It's quick and easy to use and finds more than just about any other (very close second to Reg Organizer). Its main weakness, imho, is its lack of a good editing facility, but for most users of cleaners, that's a total "don't care!". If you need more versatility for browsing/editing, look at Reg Organizer, but if you just want to keep your registry relatively clean, you can't go wrong with Registry First Aid (I have both and use them both when and where appropriate).

Rfa is really top notch!
RFA is easy (and safe!) to use. One of the most useful features is the "System Restore" option. RFA is also very fast and effective. I am never anxious using RFA, for it deals with the Registry in a very careful manner, avoiding to delete essential Registry items.

Poor program, poor support
Program doesn't deliver on promise. Didn't fix registry on several machines having register troubles. Also, have to go through manual mail in form to get money back. Many programs are better.

Great registry program at a great price
I have been a registered user of this program for two years now. Although the trial version only allows limited corrections of your registry, the full version will allow you to correct ALL your registry items at the same time. I have been provided three "free" upgrades of this program (although I have had to find out about these myself; they have never emailed me to advise me of this, and yes my email address is correct with them), and I have never had any problems with this program not detecting any errors. If you want a simple program that will keep your registry in tip-top shape, then this is a great choice. Rose City software has very poor support and has failed to respond to several of my emails over the time I have been a registered user.

Registry first aid
Excellent program. Bought a license soon after a short trial even though I couldn't really afford it at the time. Well worth a small one off payment. As it is a program that is relatively simple to apply, those that criticize are obviously less computer literate than I, and that really is saying something. If I`m so wrong, why has this program received so many accolades. Well done and many thanks RFA.
