It works great, but compared to other file recovery software I have tested, the price of this one is WAY out of line.

Trial version appeared to recover files. Big downside was instead of the original tree directory, it produced a long list of renamed files bearing no resemblance to the original file names. This may be ok for small amount of data but makes it very difficult if you have a disk with lots of data. I was reluctantly willing to live with this if original photographs were recoverable. After making purchase for full version, I had to rescan the 60GB hard drive that contained a little over 55GB of data that took over twelve hour with almost a complete failure in recovering the data (jpeg, PDF, txt, html, doc,etc.). Thousands of files were listed as recovered but without original file name, I had to go through long list and click on individual files to preview. Files that had appeared intact in trial version were either missing or damaged. Purchase of recently released recovery program resulted in 100% recovery providing further evidence RMF fails miserably in recovering FAT files.

I have a 40G drive of WindowME system and with nearly 37G data in it. I Ghosted the drive with an image of WindowXP NTFS system, the drive fill up to about 15G. I found that I have forgotten to backup all my Photos in that drive. I use RecoverMyFiles to recover nearly 10 thousand photos. (Of Course, the trial version can't help you to save the recovered files, use the real version.)

While searching for a files recovery tool, and after trying many similar software with no luck, I decided to give RMF a try to recover an important .html file on my external HDD. At First, the software takes long hours to search your entire drive, since it hs no feature to select/search sub-folders only rather than the whole drive (like some other tools), and secondly, doesn't restore all deleted files or just restore corrupted files - no use!

Had explored a number of data recovery programs due to losing a large number of files from a formatted drive. Installed RMF on the master drive and made the second drive a slave, ran RMF, and it successfully recovered close to 6000 files! Pictures came out just fine as well as Excel, Access, PDF, and others. Highly recommend this product. I've tried quite a few on the same drive to no avail. This is it!
