This software is simple and easy to use. I don't get a nag screen as others have reported, but that could have been in an earlier version. I'm using v3.0.3 which seems to be stable and works fine for me. Drag-and-drop is great. I recommend this software, but I have some suggestions. The most important one being that it MUST be able to import/load existing playlists! It would be an enormously more useful app if it could do that. I have other suggestions too, but I'll send them directly to the software author. If you want to make some quick playlists from scattered music files, give this one a try!

I was looking for something to let me drag mp3s from different locations on my drive, reorder the tracks to my liking, and generate an m3u file from it. This program does that logically and simply, in the easiest interface I could imagine. More importantly, it works- the m3us work just fine. I'm not sure why others have given it low marks, it's perfectly functional and highly useful. Recommended!

This program is a nice idea for making playlists easy. However, I believe that this is supposed to be freeware! Why is there a nag screen that comes up constantly after I make a few playlists asking for a donation in a way that I believe is aimed at making me feel guilty for using this freeware program? It makes me angry instead. If the author wanted money why didn't he charge a small amount for it and put it in shareware? At the least he could asked for a donation under the about menu. Another issue is that after I use it and go to do a reboot it crashes my system and screws up the cluster count on my hard drive. Anyway I have uninstalled the program and would not recommend it to anyone until these issues are addressed by the author.

Browsing over my mp3 collections, I often spot a variety of mp3's that I want to have ready as playlists for future projects. Playlist creation is a component of several of my larger audio programs, but I don't want to opening these multi-featured larger aps until I need their other advanced features. When that time comes, I have my collection of playlists made with Playlist Creator ready to go. The FILE menu does not offer a "CLOSE" or "NEW" option. The option to "CLEAR THE PLAYLIST" is confusing, possibly leading users to think they are deleting the playlist just created. Many may find it self-evident that "CLEAR THE PLAYLIST" means "prepare to create new playlist," but, when using new aps, I've been fooled more than once by guessing at what might be self-evident. In any case, I find Playlist Creator convenient and useful.

Who needs a creator - every tool does that. Without ability to edit existing, limited value.
