This program is all that is promises. It is simple and very fast. You can batch resize images based on a percentage of the original, or a specific size that you enter. It also has a few basic effects such as gray scale, equalizer, wallis filter, BandW, blur, and negative. A nice thing about this program is that you don't need add individual files one at a time, you simply select the directory that contains the images and subdirectory of the images that you wish to convert and your ready. Nice to see an author that resisted the urge to bloat a program with useless options. Give it a try, you'll like it!

This resizer is a good choice- basic interface, but reliable and it does what it should. In fact, it also preserves IPTC metadata in the resized file. Give it a try, it's worth a look.

I was looking for the best most basic resizer possible, as I wanted to do nothing more than select a folder with photos in, and resize them to a new folder, without touching the originals. The resized photos are of excellent quality, even when the quality is set to 'Good'. The interface is so simple even my dad can use it!! Which is why I was looking for this type of program in the first place!!
