I have tried many of the freeware password managers and although others have more bells and whistles, overall this one is the easiest to learn and use. Although the AutoLogin tab on the toolbar does not work all the time, the hot keys work well and are actually easier to use at the keyboard. It limits passwords to 25 per file not per account!....so there is plenty of room. I especially like the "take it with you" feature which transfers the entire program and PW data base to a memory stick. Makes it simple to take with you for use on ANY other computer! Stick is secured same as the installed program via encryption and password. You won't find a better freeware program that has the capacity and ease of use. FREE is not always better, but with Password Agent Lite....it is!

This program is excellent and in my experience integrates extremely well with Windows '98. I would like to express my gratitude to the developers for their kind generosity in offering the 'Lite' version as 'Freeware' and any potential Users can be assured that, in my experience, the free version does NOT contain any 'Adware', 'Spyware' or malicious code. A competently executed program which functions smoothely without any 'glitches' or 'bugs'. The updates for the freeware version are also free, so it is a bonus to be able to keep the program current. Twenty-five entries I think is sufficient for most private individuals before having to purchase the software to increase the number of entries. As stated by a previous reviewer, why pay for something when there is a perfectly good program available for free? I can certainly recommend it.

This is one of the best password managers going and believe me, I've tried a few! The only shortcoming this program has is that being a "lite" version, you can only store 25 passwords as opposed to an unlimited amount in the full version- 25 should suffice for the average user though. Other than that there are no differences. Why would anyone pay for one of those expensive password management programs when you can get Password agent lite for free?

Of the few I ve tried out, this is by far the best and easiest to implement. Double-ckick enters both login & password.
