I am not sure exactly how to rate this as I am not even sure all of what this program does but I have had a drive problem for days, it didn't show up anywhere, and I could not access it. It showed no drive letter but the system seemed to know it was there, and kept insisting that it was operating well and was enabled. I ran this program and I suppose it was the boot record being corrupted since it found and fixed all the problems in about 30 seconds and now it is working perfectly and no data loss. The demo version found the problem instantly but of course you had to buy it for the fix and it was a bit pricey since I don't see what I will ever use it for again. But since I thought the drive was toast and I could not even reformat it, it turned out to be a cheap fix, I would have returned the drive as it was under warranty but the shipping would have cost as much and it was not broken, so like I said I just lucked out finding this thing when I did.

I have a dual boot with windows and linux. After having some strange message on boot, I downloaded the trial version of this software. It did some modifications on my partition table and things just got worst after. Some free tools did a better job for me ... However, you need to know a bit about disk structure to used these (except qtparted). -- Jean
