Great protection - slows my system

I purchased this software for two of my machines. It removed spyware that other software never saw. However, it slowed down my Athlon 3200 a bit but on my Pentium 1.6GHz laptop, with 512MB RAM, it slowed it down to a crawl. Once I removed it, the laptop, resumed normal speed. I think the software is great but I would not use it on an older machine. Too much of a resource hog.

I have tried Norton 2002, 2003 and 2004, AVG free edition and pro-edition, F-secure 2003 and Panda Antivirus platinum and Panda is by far the best program. It combines the lightness of F-secure and AVG with the very good functions of Norton security. It finds - and deletes - virus, worms, trojans, spyware and all other malicious software as keyloggers etc. It is easy to use and configure and can even speak to you and inform you about it's doings. Well you must try it for your self and see it. The money spent on this program is well spent!
