This program does what it says. There was a dramatic improvement in speed of launch. You should carefully study the setup screen(uncheck the IE control)) but all in all, it is an excellent program.

It has always been annoying, having to wait for the credit scrolling to finish so I could view a PDF. This application does a great job at relieving this annoyance. It gets an A+ as far as I am concerned.

I often browse documents in Google and need to open PDF files online. It was very hectic to wait for acrobat reader to open and close on each time. I have find two programs to solve this problem. One of the two is PDF Speedup. Before started using PDF SpeedUP I have been using another program. The difference I could find in between the both is PDF speedup does it fast while closing acrobat reader (i.e coming back to search page of Google), the other program (not listed in web attack now) does it fast while opening it. But I could not use both of them at the same time. Anyway PDF Speedup is truly reduces the time as it says. A recommended one who needs to browse PDF files online.

The program is OK, just a little too much ad-like stuff in the interface to get top rating. It does what it says, and it's possible to choose what it should take away from the startup to speed it up. Anyhow this is exactly what we need at our company, with many old machines running win2000 and many using the terribly slow-started Adobe Reader 6. Now it starts on the dot!

It seems that this utility is intended for Adobe 6 only. On my system, with Acrobat 5 (and Distiller), absolutely nothing happened other than I got error messages ):

It only claims to speed up the starting of Acrobat reader, and this it does very well. However, I don't know whether you will wind up in problems if you do need the plugins which this program prevents from starting. So far, I have not had any problems, but I am not a heavy user of Acrobat documents.
