The best firewall
Outpost is very qualitative product with a bunch of useful features. I liked its interface very much but the best about the newest version of Outpost is that it requires less resources and it is much faster than other firewalls. One more important thing about Outpost is that it can be used even by beginner users, they just should set all the settings as default and rest assure against any malware attack.

The best
Outpost is a very tight firewall. It can prevent any malware attack. There are a lot of features in Outpost it means that you can adjust absolutely everything. It uses less resources than most quality firewalls. Besides new Outpost has self protection that prevents it from being shut down by malware. The one and only disadvantage of Outpost is that it can be a little difficult for beginners

No support for multiuser
Outpost is just for PC's with one user account with administrative privileges. My guess is that normally at home there are more then 60% PC's with several user accounts and not all with admin. privileges and here the Outpost Firewall become unusable!! To bad! And finally - all security experts are telling us not to use user account with admin rights for just browsing and so...., but how to manage Outpost during that time??.. I mean this isn't possible... Good product and it will become excellent when it will support fast user switching!

Outpost to the outhouse
A marginal firewall. Several issues that have not been resolved include firewall not active for many seconds (approx 10) after Windows has loaded. This is a no no! Unsure about current version, but previous version terminated suddenly (per Windows Event Viewer). Also, a big no no! Many script error on web pages causing them not to load properly. Needs some work and a few enhancements such as whois and network activity indicator within the system tray icon. Support not so hot either. Fix/implement these bugs/features and you got a nice firewall. Got to pass for now due to the firewall not being active for many seconds after windows has loaded.

Great product
I had used ... for years until recently when I tried Outpost Firewall Pro. In my opinion, Outpost Pro's features and user interface are far superior to ... I highly recommend it.

Highest quality software firewall
Outpost Pro = top of the range personal firewall for many reasons and it's an application that continues to improve. The features that stand out for me are the application filtering , attack detection , the real time connection monitoring and the great plugins. I love most that Outpost allows advanced users to set their own security rules right down to the finest details of the connection , while also providing auto configuration of the rules during installation and a rules wizard mode for less technical users, and a block most mode for highest protection. The free plugins available allow me greater powers to protect my computer using Blockpost's IP blocking and track down spyware-trojan website threats with the HTTP log. Too many great features to list here , but I would recommend this to people serious about their own internet security & also the Outpost support forum , run by the users offers great advice whenever you need it.

Well-featured and capable, but...
Why I do not recommend OFP: There is a bug which prevents some web pages from loading, and this is a bug that a number of users have been reporting for months (check the Agnitum forums). No fix seems to be on the horizon. Some dialogs which should be resizable are not. When your rule sets grow beyond a certain point, this can be a real hassle (especially at high DPI settings). Agnitum seems to casually dismiss support requests from registered users.
