A few problems included
This is a very neat little utility and the features are outstanding. I have used it continually for about the past year and a half. But there is one BIG drawback when using this little jewel, if you use Power DVD or Win DVD to view video content, all you will get is audio and a black screen. Object Dock will effectively hide your video content from human view. For this reason, I have opted to uninstall it until this bug has been eradicated completely. This bug has been around for quite some time, at least for the past 3 version releases. It seems to me that StarDock would get this fixed.

Ease of use...
This program is so easy to use...it's actually fun. I use to use PBar..which is easy to use but not as much fun. Keep up the good work guys!

Not a good match for win2k
I have tried this program in an earlier version, and then tried it again both on my win2k laptop and my XP desktop. I couldn't even access the preferences in 2k, it kept crashing. On the machine at home it worked more or less, but is a real resource hog. There are better programs to accomplish the same thing.

Object is great
Objectdock is one of the best customization tools you can get for your desktop. Objectdock uses very little memory or system resources.

Nice but "heavy"
I recommend this applet but only for those that have a fast computer with lots of memory available. I used ObjectDock for a while but decided to go back to the simple but very light on system resources Hidden Menu. ObjectDock looks great and the dynamic buttons look quite impressive. But beauty comes at a price in that it eats up resources.

Better than a minimac!
If you have ever seen Mac OS X in action, it will give you a good idea of what ObjectDock is like. Toss in free (until I buy ObjectDock Plus anyway), and it's quite awesome. Have had assolutely zero problems, looks great, fun to use - can't ask for more.
