I was trying to find where all my hard drive space was being used, having a huge drive with thousands of files I couldn't find a program simple enough to render the results I wanted, like Mousesoft Directory Size. I tried many programs before I found this one, and immediately this program highlighted where my space was being used, I was then able to re organise my hard drive. One thing I would like to see from this program in a portable version that I could use on a USB stick. A great utility to use any time.

Lists of file names can be simply cut and pasted for use in Excel or other text editors. I searched for ages for a utility that would do exactly this. It's primary function as a directory size indicator may come in handy too. Highly recommended.

I've been looking for a tool to help us find large files on our network drives. Directory Size might not look as flashy as some other disk tools but it is much more useful - the printing and export facilities (to Excel or Notepad) are excellent and not found on other freeware programs.

This program delivers a straight forward directory size readout, including subdirectories It's intuitive and a great addition to your computer information collection tools.
