It does magnify portions with the option of magnification X's. However, I didn't find it all too useful and more of a , "just there" scenario. The nag? Yeah, it's a bit annoying. I didn't feel this was something I would register for.

I wanted to be able to magnify parts of images on screen. This does it perfectly! Although I think the original use was for precision work with graphics, which it does very well, the use I wanted it for works very well. It has a good range of magnification 2x up to 50x and basically does a good job in a very simple, straightforward manner. Use the registration, it is quite painless!!
