Perfect for many uses
We here at my company build images of os/apps and ghost them to batches of pc's. the pc's are built here and every so often there is a bad one in the bunch that might need a cpu or something else changed. MBM is run as part of the testing process on every machine, along with Burnin Test Pro. We can immediately see if a fan is spinning slower than it should, or if a processor is running to warm. it's a great, highly configurable tool that is one of those that I will probably keep forever.

Can't do without it!
Many monitoring features, temperature of CPU always, plus if your hardware supports them also board, power supply, disk drive temps. And a CPU usage meter. All these can display as icons in the systray: no intrusion: I LOVE THIS!!! Nice to see how cool your CPU when idle, and how hot when 100% busy. Also can monitor fan speeds and power voltages. Can set warning limits and optionally force shutdown on any of the above! Only problem: no longer maintained, so might not correctly detect some newer motherboards. But if you experiment, you can still get it to find the correct sensor settings. GIVE IT A TRY, it might save you money, it also might avoid a FIRE if a fan should fail: this happened to a friend of mine...

Mbm is not the best thing since sliced bread
But it is gosh darn good. First learned of the necessity to use such a program when a mysterious computer problem was traced to bad power supply and a hot -12v level. HD's would mysteriously power-down, strange system hangs, all sorts of things. Now I monitor temp & voltage health all the time. If you're an overclocker then you already know about temperature monitoring and how important it is. It doesn't take long to cook an expensive CPU. Get MBM today.

All computers should come with this...
A cool tool that satisfies both the geek and the practical person seeking to keep a healthy system going.
