An excellent finance manager. I have downloaded quite a few freeware finance managers and this comes top of the list as the others that give more than one account free are useless; otherwise, to achieve a good freeware that does several accounts you are looking at business software. you don't need all that sales rubbish and dual account stuff. This is all you need and it is still developing. Believe me I have search much of the web to narrow it down to this and its 'free'!

Was looking all over the net for some personal freeware to keep track of my money in my "First Home Bank". When I found this and tried it, I was shocked! Wonderful interface, cool features, and an easy way to keep track of your money. Easily keep track of your transactions and everything!

Although this a freeware program (and thus not to be held to the same standards as purchased software), the bugs I encountered upon usage made it impractical. I encountered unhandled exceptions upon entering payees, bills, and creating accounts, which makes the program unusable. I am a .NET developer (C#) and have the latest hardware, software, patches, etc. and have no other problems within any other software. Try it if you'd like, but don't be surprised if you're uninstalling it fifteen minutes later. Developer(s) should revisit, review and debug code to provide better exception handling.

For the price, you can't go wrong. It has some missing features... of which... you can't edit withdraws/transfers... you have to delete them and create them again with the modified content... a little annoying but at least it works. And I wish this program had a system tray notifier or something that would warn you about an upcoming bill.

This is useful software with an excellent user interface. All the important features for tracking your money is there. Unlimited number of accounts, common transaction types, open data formats (XML), simple and useful reports all make this worthwhile. It does not have everything other financial programs on the market offer but it is tough to beat it's price/value. Highly recommended.

If you've never used a personal finance program before, you might like this program, especially at first glance. If you have, then you might look at it and think it's a really good program. But it's not. It does have a beautiful and well-laid out interface, but it has both bugs and some non-intuitive functions. For example, to create subcategories you should select a category, then start creating subcategories under that, but no, you must keep re-selecting the main category, and the list doesn't update until you refresh it. The inability to delete accounts, the cumbersome method of entering transactions, occasional lockups and other shortcomings make this program feel like a beta rather that a ready-for-production tool. It has great potential, but I recommend waiting until it improves or look elsewhere. Such things are inexcusable in an app that's helping you manage your money!
