No problem
I had a 2 hour mp3 I needed to split in two and no problem, did the trick easily. Only small problem that I couldn't see the small split icon, but obviously I found it at the bottom. Bit small. Otherwise excellent.

Better tools abound
I personally use MP3DirectCut for all my MP3 splitting needs. Auto cue set to whatever length you want and then Save Split from the file menu. Doesn't get simpler than that. This ones only advantage is extreme simplicity. Learning MP3DC pays huge dividends, as it can do most anything that you can do in a lossless fashion to an MP3.

Free mp3 splitter that works
Very easy to split 2 hour radio shows into two 1 hour segments though lack of documentation forces one to figure out how it works. Current version leaves all tag fields blank so another program is needed to fill those in. Author states this deficiency is being worked on. Price is right (free) and it does the job. Thanks! Skylark

Best way to make mp3 ringtones for nokia 6230
I just want to say that this is the best bit of freeware to make MP3 ring tones if your mobile phone supports using MP3 music files as ring tones. It was fairly intuitive to use and it did exactly what I wanted. That is, chop up an MP3 (several MBs) by ear so that I could create shorter MP3s (about 750kB) of just the bits I wanted to use as a ring tone for my Nokia 6230 (which by the way has an awesome Kingmax 512MB MMC card to store MP3s). Most of the time, I just save the first 48 secs of the songs as they usually have the strongest impact. I just love my new ring tones - the sky's the limit now! Thanks Mega MP3 Splitter!
