MakePDF will create a Table of Contents using Word Styles, activate your hyperlinks, and also gives you the ability to merge, insert and concatenate PDF s. It will also allow you to convert an entire folder of .docs to .pdf in a single conversion. But most importantly, our .PDF s are text searchable, not image PDF s. This is another significant difference. Finally, if you are a professional such as an attorney, a publisher, and a writer, that cannot have your documents repaginated then you will most certainly want to pay for the additional functionality and certainty that your documents will not be changed by the PDF converter. If none of this is of value when converting documents to PDF, then there is no real reason to pay, and you will be better off using one of the many 100 s of products that convert documents to PDF that are free. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!
