Although now rather long in the tooth, this app remains a great tool for uploading files onto a web server. I tried the other more famous ones but settled for this one - it's fast and simple and does everything I need. For web site maintenance the great feature is being able to compare local and remote directories so you can quickly see which files, from your local PC, need to uploaded onto your host web server. The multi-threading means you can upload a whole load of files really fast. You can view files from the server, change permissions, rename, delete, and carry out all basic file admin tasks.

My favotite FTP software told "Could not retrieve directory listing" so I had to find a new one, and this did the job, and fast! threads view is useful. can retry failed attempts with one click. It's old, but better than many newer ones.

What the first guy said. I've tried all kinds of FTP clients, including SmartFTP, and I always come back to Leech. It is a simple, effective, and very, very fast Windows FTP client. If the author's listening, crank it up again, please. I think this is, or could be, in the same league as IrfanView.

A dead project for 5 years but still the best

The development of this software stopped some 5 years ago, but it still is great and my favourite choice as my windows FTP client. I often try others but always end up using leechftp. Great software endures time. Thank you Jan.

Very nice dual pane as well as the drag and drop uploads. No updates to this product in some time though!
