Best gallery program i have come across
I've tried out several gallery programs and this knocks the socks off the rest. Excellent program and it's updated regularly. There's a lively community forum on the home website if you need any help. It isn't the simplest program to use and has a wealth of useful features but isn't full of worthless bloat. With a little experimenting you can find how versatile JAlbum is, especially if you want it to blend with your own website. I heartily recommend this one.

Brilliant
I love it. Does what it's meant to in a stylish way and all for nothing. Goes great with thingamablog for my purposes ie. dialup, although I do occasionally directly ftp across some bigger jpg files.

Good for most graphics but not all
Does not see WMF files. It does see most of the other types of files like GIF, JPG and PNG though.

Incredible software at any price
JAlbum being Java based runs on about anything including Windows, Mac, Linux, Solaris, etc. There are well over 400 "skins" (design styles) available and while my 90 year old grandmother could make a web album in about 2 minutes with it, there is enough flexibility to keep my brother, the Phd Harvard geek and my sister, the New York promo designer satisfied with it for years. Unbelievable that it's free.

Outstanding
Jalbum an absolute no brainer for any user who wants to put up an album once in a while and wants it to look *real* good. Well enough as that might be, the ingenuity of what Jalbum really is comes into play if you're a notch above amateur and want the best gallery tool available to communicate your work exactly the way you want it. I've been through a lot of image gallery tools and found of 100% them lacking in one or other feature that has made for post-editing the output with a separate HTML-editor to get what is needed. Jalbum lets you do all you need within one piece of software. As with any software with serious capabilities, if you go beyond the defaults you need to spend a few minutes in the manual but that is more than well spent time. I'm plumb amazed that this is freeware, it's simply the best image gallery tool I've ever used.

Great way to create webalbums!
At first you have to dig through the options a bit, but when you got the hang of it and created the right template for your personal use, it's a piece of cake to create albums and even publish them automatically!

Galleries made easy!
Wow, this is a no brainer. I use to use PhotoShop to create my galleries, JAlbum has more choices and takes much less memory to run. When it's done doing it's thing I just post it or burn it. Awesome App!

Jaalbum
This program does what it says and does it very well. Great program for creating websites with many files and subdirectories. Great. Love the Slide capability and ability to handle subdirectories.
