While I had to learn to do this manually, which I still recommend in some regard, this is something that will save you time and a major headache. If you have to do something like this, it's a must have tool.

Limits subnet masks to classes abandoned in the early 1990s. Often leaves out the first subnet from the list of possible subnets. No support because it's free, but there are plenty of free subnet calculators that WILL fix their bugs when reported. If you're using this freebie while deciding if you should pay for any of their other products, consider this an example of their work and a caveat. I'm giving it 1 star because SnapFiles doesn't offer 0 stars as a choice.

We've been using this in network classes for several years. Once you know this tool, you're unlikely to use others. And the best of all: you can use this on PC as well as on PDA, so you'll never be left to manual binary calculations any more...
